Michael Cranford has a heart for discipleship—encouraging and equipping men and women to know, trust, and follow Jesus Christ in today’s world. He is a teacher, speaker, and writer. He has been a leader in ministry, academic, and corporate settings, managing people and resources effectively for over three decades. He spent two years as chaplain at St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange, California, caring for patients and families in times of crisis, including the COVID-19 lockdown. He is currently Adjunct Professor of Philosophy at Concordia University in Irvine, California. His educational background combines work in applied ethics with biblical studies to arrive at practical insights for the Christian life in today’s world.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine, a Master of Divinity from Talbot School of Theology, an M.A. and Ph.D. in Religion and Social Ethics from the University of Southern California.
